God greatly exalted the Son and bestowed on him the name which is above every name.

Direction to the Shrine near the Old Mausoleum will be posted at the Cemetery gate. For more information, please call Project Rachel at 415-6428 or Respect Life Program at (415) 614-5572.

Dear Friends,

This coming Wednesday will be a red-letter day in the history of MD. It is the day of our Town Hall Meeting in the Church at 7:30 p.m. I can not emphasize enough how important this meeting is. We will be charting the future direction MD will be moving in . Anything and everything is up for discussion. If you care about MD, you will not want to miss this meeting.

Next weekend, we will have our annual Parish Festival. Please plan on attending. A lot of people have worked a lot of hours to put this all together. Please support them and our parish. Even though this is our biggest fund raiser of the year, what’s even more important is the parish coming together and having fun. Hope to see you there!

It is a tradition of the church that on the First Sunday in October, we have the Blessing of Animals on the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Accordingly, I will be blessing all your critters, both big and small, after the 12 Noon Mass at approximately I p.m., next Sunday. Each animal will get a certificate after the blessing. Please plan on bringing your “little friends” to this celebration.

Have a great week!

Fr. Brian
