Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make you request know to God.

—– Philippians 4-6

First Friday Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction is on Friday, October 7th at 7:30 p.m. All parishioners are encouraged to attend.

Dear Friends,

As you might have noticed, we are trying to beautify the area around the Church by pulling out the weeds and trimming the bushes. I’d like to plant some flowers with color to brighten up the place. If you would like to either donate flowers or money for this project, please call Rosemary in the Parish Office.

During this past month, we have set up a Web Site for the Church. You might want to check it out by punching in the letters www.mdssf.org. We will put the Web Site on the front page of future Sunday Bulletins. Many thanks go to Duggan’s Serra Mortuary for giving us a large donation to get us going. I told Duggan’s that I will highly recommend their services to my parishioners here at MD.

Don’t forget the Blessing of the Animals today at 1 p.m. in front of the Church. Also, please mark your calendars for Children’s Halloween Mass at 10 a.m. on October 30th. More about this in future Bulletins.

Have a great last day at our Parish Festival. Be sure to get your tickets turned in on time. Thanks to one and all for making this Festival such a huge success.

Have a great week!

Fr. Brian
