THE
MUSLIM PRAYER FOR
PEACE
In
the name of Allah, the
beneficent, the merciful. Praise
be to the Lord of the Universe
who has created us and made us
into tribes and nations, that we
may know each other, not that we
may despise each other. If the
enemy incline towards peace, do
thou also incline towards peace,
and trust in God, for the Lord is
the one that heareth and knoweth
all things. And the servants of
God, Most Gracious are those who
walk on the Earth in humility,
and when we address them, we
say
PEACE.

Dear
Friends,
Our
school is going through some bad
times right now. As of today,
the school will be opening in the
fall. If things change, I will
talk to everyone first before any
decisions are made. Please keep
the school, as well as our kids,
in your prayers. God willing, we
will pull through these tough
times together.
Bishop
John Wester was installed as the
new Bishop of Salt Lake City this
past Wednesday. Father
Padazinski was able to go to the
installation. Bishop John has
been a friend of mine for many
years now. In fact, we went to
Our Lady of Mercy together as
well as the seminary. He has
also been a good friend of Mater
Dolorosa as well.
Congratulations, Bishop John, on
your new assignment. I will miss
you along with all the
parishioners here at Mater
Dolorosa.
Please
remember our one-day retreat
coming Saturday, March 31st, from
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the
Hall. I couldnt think of a
better way to prepare for Holy
Week and Easter than by
participating in this retreat.
See you there!
|
Have
a great Fourth Week of
Lent!
