Help save Marco Ocbena and other patients like him. Register to be a marrow donor. Register on August 19, 2007. A representative of the Asian American Donor Program will evaluate and oversee the registration of donors. It’s easy—you only need to be between the ages of 18-60, meet the health guidelines, fill out the form and give a cheek swab. If you are a match, the stem cell transplant is through an IV—NO SURGERY. Bone marrow regenerates after two to three weeks. For information, call Lourdes at (415) 640-2696.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you, Ed Palomar, for filling in the cracks in the cement in front of the school.

Your kindness is much appreciated

Hospitality Sunday at Mater Dolorosa

Hospitality Sunday after the 10:00 Mass was a great success last Sunday. Everyone enjoyed it and we had a big turn-out! The Altar Society will host this event every first Sunday after the 10:00 Mass. Next month, Hospitality Sunday falls on September 2nd, following the 10:00 a.m. Mass. The Children’s Choir sings at that Mass, so mark your calendar and plan to attend! Many thanks go to our Altar Society who shopped, set-up, donated goodies and cleaned up, and their helpers:

Lorna Agdeppa
Liz Albaro
Chris Guasque
Violeta Rapues
Jim & Angi Rodriquez
Lillie Villaluna

Thank-you and God Bless you for your generosity and support!
