In
todays second reading, St. Paul
encourages us not to grow weary or lose
heart, but to persevere in following
Jesus. Our willingness to give of
ourselves, even in the face of conflict
and division, is one way to measure our
discipleship.

Calling All Young Adults to
Sydney!
Northern
California dioceses are organizing a
pilgrimage to World Youth Day in July
2008. We have extended the registration
deadline to August 31, 2007, but space is
limited and not guaranteed. The
pilgrimage includes the Days in the
Diocese the host family stays in
Christchurch, New Zealand for only $3,295.
(price estimate) July 6-22, 2008. Costs
include airfare, budget hotel, WYD
registration and most meals. The
Archdiocese of San Francisco is working
with the dioceses of Sacramento, Monterey
and Reno for a young adult pilgrimage ages
18 to 35. Archbishop Niederauer is
planning to join us. A land-only option
is available for the Sydney, Australia
World Youth Day portion, July 14-22, 2008
for $1,475. (price estimate) - airfare not

of CHRISTIAN INITIATION for

(RCIA)

classes are for ages 19 and up.
RCIA is for adults who want to
learn about the Catholic faith,
and those who want to receive the
sacraments of Baptism, Holy
Communion, and Confirmation.

TEACH.
