Please attend the .7 Now Conference at St. Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday, October 27th, and become a person of faith committed to ending poverty.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. in the lower Cathedral Center. Lunch will be provided if you register by October 23rd. Details can be found on or by calling 415-614-5567.

Please be present to join the spiritually moving Opening Prayer in the Upper Cathedral at 9:00 a.m.

Today’s theme is perseverance—Moses keeping his hands upraised throughout the battle, Paul urging Timothy to stay with the task of preaching and teaching, and the widow appealing to the corrupt judge. To be faithful stewards of God’s gifts, we, too, must persevere in the roles to which we are called.

News About our Parish Floor

Bluewater Environmental Services will be here on Monday, October 29th to begin the removal of the old parish hall floor and kitchen floor. It will be a “contained - water blast” process that will require a minimum of chemicals. The removal will not expose us to asbestos. This work will take 4-5 working days. Following the removal of the existing floor, IDS and Gucho Plumbing will arrive on Monday, November 5th to remove the kitchen fixtures, sinks and stoves and install our new flooring. This process will take approximately 10-14 working days, depending on the plumbing situation in the kitchen.

This process will not interfere with our Mass schedule, but will effect any groups that meet in the parish hall until job completion on November 16th (with prayers). It is our hope to have a “Celebration Pot-Luck Dinner” on November 17th following the 5:00 Mass. We’ll keep you posted!
