Dear
Friends,
Two
Sundays ago, Bishop Nes Ongtioco,
Bishop of Cabal, outside of Metro
Manila, celebrated the 10:00
Mass. He was accompanying the
Hail Mary The Queen
Children’s Choir that was
visiting San Francisco. We thank
Bishop Nes for celebrating Mass
for us and the Children’s
Choir who sang for us.
This
is the last Sunday we will be
selling tickets to Late Nite
Catechism. Late Nite Catechism
will be performed here next
Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Please get
your tickets now for this benefit
performance for our parish. It is
an evening that the whole family
will enjoy.

My gratitude goes out to
the many kind and generous people
who pulled together last Sunday
to make my twentieth anniversary
of priesthood such a joyous
occasion. It was a delight
and a privilege to celebrate the
Mass with you in Church, and then
to move to the hall to continue
the celebration with mariachis,
good food, and great company!As I
mentioned at the Mass, I cannot
think of anything else I would
rather be doing with my
life. While the past twenty
years of priestly ministry have
may not been perfect, they have
been rich with many
blessings. It is my hope
that my ministry here has helped
your relationship with Christ,
our risen Lord. You are
wonderful people and I am
fortunate to live among you here,
at Mater Dolorosa. Again,
many thanks!

CATHOLIC DEVOTION— FLORES de MAYO
MAY
18th * 4:00 P.M.
Our
community will gather together to
celebrate the month that is dedicated to
our Blessed Mother. We will pray the
Rosary together at 4:00 p.m. , followed by
Mass at 5:00, then a procession and floral
offering. Afterwards, there will be a pot
luck dinner in the parish hall. If you
