THEME
OF OUR LITURGY
-
|
|
Gods
power is shown in kindness and
clemency, not in harshness and
condemnation.
|
First
Reading: Wisdom 12:13, 16-19
You taught your people that those who are
just, must likewise be
kind.
Second
Reading: Romans 8:26-27
The Spirit comes to aid us in our
weakness.
Gospel:
Matthew 13:24-43
Jesus proposes parables to the crowds,
teaching them of the reign of
God.

|
A
LITTLE
BLESSING
May
God grant you always, A
sunbeam to warm you, A
moonbeam to charm you, A
sheltering Angel, so
nothing can harm you,
Laughter to cheer you,
faithful friends near
you, and whenever you
pray, Heaven to hear
you.

Dear
Father Brian
Costello,
Thank
you for Mater Dolorosa
Churchs gift of $3,148.00
to Catholic Charities CYO for
Loaves & Fishes Sunday.
Please let your parishioners know
that their generosity for the
Second Collection is warmly
appreciated.
Your
parishs gift allows our
agency to act as the social
services arm of the Archdiocese.
More than 40,000 people in the
three county Archdiocese of San
Francisco are assisted through
our 30+ programs and
services.
These
are the vulnerable of all faiths:
infants and small children, at
risk youth, the elderly and
aging, the sick and disabled,
working poor families, and
newcomers to this country seeking
a safe and stable home
here.
Mater
Dolorosa Churchs gift
supports our continuing mission
to serve our parishes and
communities, and allows our
agency to begin a Second Century
of providing help and
hope.
With
gratitude for your continued
support and
goodwill,
|
