THEME
OF OUR LITURGY
-
|
|
Through the
fidelity of the people of God,
and through Gods fidelity
to them, all people shall become
Gods
children.
|
First
Reading: Isaiah 60:1-6
Rise up in splendor, Jerusalem! The Lord
shines upon you and the glory of the Lord
appears over you.
Second
Reading: Ephesians 3:2-3a, 5-6
The Gentiles are coheirs, copartners in
the promise in Christ Jesus through the
gospel.
Gospel:
Matthew 2:1-12
Magi from the east arrived, looking for
the newborn king of the Jews.
|
|
The
three wise men who came
from the East to pay
homage to the infant
Jesus brought Him rich
gifts of gold,
frankincense, and myrrh
as part of their
worship. What gifts
have I brought to His
celebration to offer to
the newborn
Savior?

OUR
CHRISTMAS
STORY
|
If
you are reading this
today. . .
our hearts have touched
in a special way.
Its time for
Christmas Carole
singing. . .
the joyful sound of
church bells
ringing.
Hopes and dreams replace
despair. . .
as wonder whispers
through the air.
We celebrate the birth
of our King. . .
the One whose life
changed everything.
Millions of stars
gleaming in the skies. .
.
as love light twinkled
in His eyes.
His precious birth will
always be. . .
a miracle, a
mystery.
Love is the gift Jesus
planned. . .
to fill our inner
wonderland.
His words of wisdom, so
long ago. . .
still nurture. . . and
guide us and help us
grow.
Sharing love is the key.
. .
to our Christmas
story.
When we give our love
away. . .
little by little, day
after day. . .
it begins to intertwine.
. .
interweaving
humankind.
May the meaning of this
heartfelt season . .
.
fill our lives with
greater reason.
And as were
blessed with a year
brand new. . .
with empty pages. . .
filled by me, by you. .
.
may love be the golden
key. . .
in writing our life
story.
