Dear Family in Christ,

Thank you for your interest in our Family Faith Formation Program. 

Parents are the most influential in shaping the spiritual life of their children. The overwhelming evidence from research studies show that the whole family plays an important role in forming the faith of children and youth. It has also shown that children’s religious practices are tied to families’ practices. In addition, teens are most likely to engage in religious activities if attended as a family.

Family centered faith formation (family catechesis) connects the liturgical celebration (the Mass) in the parish to family life at home. This model of catechesis supports parents in their faith while raising a family in the rich tradition of our Catholic Church. Family catechesis is an opportunity for parents and children to grow in faith together. 

We look forward to engage, encourage, and equip parents and children in their faith journey using this model of catechesis.



Our first family gathering will begin on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
